Miracle's disappearance at the library led to a lot of crimes; mainly assaults. Miracle and Peter, the guy in glasses were the assassin's primary targets but after a library visitor and her little daughter suspected one of the library assistants, she phoned the police. While the police were attempting to arrest the library assistant, a sniper sniped at her from a block of flats, putting the other occupants in the seven storeyed building in restlessness and fear. The newly initiated assassins decided to quit and the rest decided to get rid of them while also after the life of the guy in glasses. This is a suspense-filled story, spanning three days. James fell in love with Fifehanmi after preventing a bus from hitting her at her mother's stall. Fifehanmi started to have feelings for him too but it changed when she met Jake who was James' childhood and best friend. Fifehanmi was not aware of the men's friendship and Jake hid it from her. Eventually, James caught them in a romantic mood and the crisis started. Over time, it escalated and James found himself in the police custody for the attempted murder of Jake, after Jake was attacked by someone. Fifehanmi saw to Jake's arrest but she herself was not at peace. Her dear mother was kidnapped and her brother who had always been away had to stay with her since everyone that cared for her was in an unpleasant situation. In the police custody, James continued to face his woes as someone made an attempt to take his life. The officers in charge of his case equally had a strife. Jake who was in coma was needed alive by Fifehanmi and the trustworthy officers, but James needed him the most. Without him, there was no assurance that James would be freed. However, there was a nurse who was in a dilemma fiddling with his life supporting machine. Jake was in coma, James was in police custody and Fifehanmi's mother was at the mercy of her kidnappers. Everyone was restless. Book two focuses more on introducing new characters and developing the minor characters in book one into major characters, giving some of the major characters rest. Book three focuses on developing characters in book one and two.
